Asian Association on Remote Sensing (AARS) is an Asian non-governmental organization dedicated to promote Remote Sensing through exchange of information, mutual cooperation and international understanding and goodwill amongst the member countries of Asia-Pacific Region. Established in 1981, AARS is one of the largest organizations in its field with over 29 member countries.

ACRS2025

The 46th Asian Conference on Remote Sensing (ACRS 2025) was successfully organized from 27 to 31 October 2025 in Makassar, Indonesia. A total of 450 participants from 25 countries attended ACRS2025, and 244 papers (oral: 203, poster: 41) were presented.
